Tool overview
Helix is listed under AI Models & Platforms AI tools.
What is Helix?
Helix runs private fleets of AI agents in isolated desktops with shared project and Kanban controls. It supports a Mac app, Linux and Kubernetes deployments, a managed Cloud tier, and a Sovereign Server. Teams can run coding agents, conversational agent apps, RAG, inference, and supporting AI services on local, cloud, or air-gapped infrastructure.

Pros
- Broad private deployment choices
- Published individual and enterprise pricing
- Team controls for isolated agent work
Limitations
Helix source is publicly available but uses a commercial source license with restrictions, including limits on large-company use and competing products. Agent desktops can execute code and access sensitive systems, so teams must isolate credentials, review changes, control networking, secure clusters, monitor usage, and maintain human approval.
