Information we may collect
When you use AstronovAI, we may collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the website or mobile app.
- Account information: name, email address, password credentials handled by WordPress, profile photo, preferences, and consent timestamps.
- Profile photos and media access: in the mobile app, photo-library access is requested when you choose to add or change a profile photo. The image you select is uploaded to AstronovAI and may appear in the app and beside your reviews and comments. You can remove the photo from your account.
- Mobile session data: the mobile app stores authentication session information in protected on-device storage so you can stay signed in. Signing out clears the local account session on that device.
- Connected sign-in accounts: when you choose Google, LinkedIn, or Microsoft sign-in, we may receive a provider account identifier, name, email address, email-verification status, and profile image. AstronovAI does not store provider access or refresh tokens after sign-in.
- Workspace activity: favorites, saved comparisons, recently viewed tools, reviews, submitted tools, account activity records, and company workspace activity.
- Company profile and public business content: company name, official website and domain, description, industry, company size, headquarters, country, founded year, social links, logos, cover images, public contact channels, people profiles, careers, updates, services, offers, partner programs, and similar information a company chooses to publish.
- Company ownership and product relationship data: company creation requests, product ownership claims, brand-new product submissions, product-to-company relationships, approval status, and related operational records.
- Team and access data: company workspace membership, invitations, roles, access permissions, ownership-transfer activity, and relevant administrative audit records.
- Verification data: corporate email addresses used for verification, verification codes and challenge status, DNS or domain-control evidence, verification method, verification status, and related audit records.
- Business inquiries and leads: when someone sends a request to a company, we may process the sender's name, email address, company name, request type, message, request status, assignment, and internal workspace notes used to manage that request.
- Company Page analytics: aggregate first-party engagement metrics such as Company Page views, website clicks, product clicks, offer clicks, careers clicks, follower counts, and request activity. AstronovAI Business analytics rows are designed not to store account IDs, IP addresses, or user-agent strings.
- Community content: comments, replies, review text, ratings, reports, and moderation-related metadata.
- Technical information: browser or app/device information, IP address, timestamps, security logs, cookies or local storage where applicable, and similar diagnostic or performance data.
- Messages and submissions: information included when you submit a tool, contact us, or send feedback.
How we use information
We use information to operate, secure, improve, and personalize the AstronovAI website, mobile app, and Business features. This includes account access, saved workspace features, profile-photo management, community moderation, company and product approval workflows, company verification, team access, Company Page publishing, business request routing, aggregate company analytics, tool submissions, search and filter improvements, spam prevention, advertising where enabled, and support.
Company workspaces, verification, and public Company Pages
AstronovAI Business separates public Company Page content from private workspace and operational data. Information a company publishes to its Company Page may be visible to anyone. Workspace membership, invitations, permissions, private notes, pending access requests, verification challenges, and similar administrative information are limited to authorized use within the platform.
Verification data is used to confirm control of a company identity or official domain, prevent impersonation and abuse, maintain audit history, and support trust and security. Verification status and a limited trust indicator may be public, while verification codes, private challenge details, and sensitive administrative records are not published.
Authorized company members may see the workspace information and management data permitted by their role. Workspace owners and administrators can manage access and may invite or remove team members or transfer ownership according to platform permissions.
Business inquiries and Company Page analytics
When a user sends a business inquiry through a Company's public page, the request information is shared with authorized members of that company's workspace so they can review, assign, note, archive, and respond to the inquiry. AstronovAI may also process request metadata for security, spam prevention, abuse investigation, and service operation.
Company Page analytics are intended to provide aggregate first-party engagement insights to authorized company members. Metrics may include views and interaction counts. Requester identities and follower identities are not exposed through the analytics interface, and analytics do not affect organic ranking.
Connected sign-in providers
You may choose to sign in through Google, LinkedIn, or Microsoft when those options are enabled. The provider authenticates you and shares the limited profile information requested on its consent screen. We use the provider's stable account identifier to connect the sign-in method to your AstronovAI account. You can review and disconnect providers from the Connected Accounts section, subject to maintaining another way to access your account.
Cookies, local storage, and mobile secure storage
On the website, AstronovAI may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for login sessions, security, preferences such as theme mode, recently viewed tools, favorites, comparison workflows, analytics, advertising measurement, affiliate attribution, and performance improvements.
In the mobile app, authentication session information is stored using protected on-device storage. Advertising and consent technologies may also store or access device identifiers or local state as described by their providers and your consent choices.
If third-party advertising, analytics, or affiliate networks are enabled, those providers may use their own cookies, SDKs, identifiers, scripts, or similar technologies according to their policies.
Advertising, Google AdSense, Google AdMob, and ad personalization
AstronovAI may display advertisements or sponsored placements from approved advertising partners. The website may use Google AdSense or other web advertising services, and the mobile app may use Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK when advertising is enabled.
When Google Mobile Ads is active in the mobile app, Google may automatically collect and share data such as the device IP address, app interactions, diagnostic or performance information, and device or advertising identifiers, as applicable, for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Google controls its own processing of this data under its policies.
In regions where consent is required, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the mobile app uses Google's consent tooling before requesting ads when required. Users may also use Google's advertising controls and their browser or device settings to manage advertising choices.
If an advertising network is active, additional ad network identifiers may be listed in the site's ads.txt file when required by the network. We do not publish placeholder ad network identifiers before they are provided by an approved advertising partner.
Reviews, comments, and public content
Content you post publicly, such as reviews, comments, replies, and discussion messages, may be visible to other users. We may moderate, remove, or restrict content that violates community standards, appears abusive, spammy, misleading, or unsafe.
How information may be shared
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the website, mobile app, and Business platform, such as hosting, security, analytics, email delivery, spam prevention, technical maintenance, and advertising providers when advertising is enabled. Public Company Page information is shared publicly when a company chooses to publish it. Business inquiry data is shared with authorized members of the relevant company workspace so they can handle the request. For example, Google may receive data through the Google Mobile Ads SDK as described above. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate abuse.
Third-party websites and AI tools
AstronovAI links to third-party AI tools, websites, affiliate programs, documentation, and external resources. Those third parties control their own services, data practices, prices, terms, and privacy policies. Review their policies before using them.

Data retention and account deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the website, mobile app, and Business platform, maintain appropriate records, secure the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and improve the product. Company verification, approval, access, ownership-transfer, request-management, moderation, fraud-prevention, and security records may be retained where reasonably necessary for audit, safety, abuse prevention, or compliance. Some information may also remain in backups or records required by law for a limited period or as otherwise legitimately required.
You can permanently delete your AstronovAI account from the mobile app or through our account deletion page. Account deletion removes the account and associated personal account data as described by the deletion flow. Public editorial tool records and company-controlled public information may remain where they are not solely tied to the deleted personal account, and a company workspace may continue to exist for other authorized members. Limited verification, approval, audit, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or legal records may also persist where legitimately required.
Your choices
- You can update your profile and preferences from your account workspace.
- You can manage favorites, saved comparisons, and other workspace activity where available.
- If you are authorized to manage a company workspace, you can update company information, manage permitted public content, review workspace access, and use available verification and team controls.
- You can permanently delete your account from the mobile app's Privacy & account screen or through the account deletion page.
- You can remove an uploaded profile photo from your account and control photo-library permission through your device settings.
- You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings, and use Google or device advertising controls for advertising choices, although some features may behave differently.
- If you cannot access your account or need help with access, correction, or deletion, contact AstronovAI through the contact page.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the website, mobile app, and user information. The mobile app stores authentication session information using protected on-device storage and communicates with AstronovAI services over HTTPS. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please use a strong password and protect your account credentials.
Children
AstronovAI is not intended for children under the age required to use online services in their location. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review the issue.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as AstronovAI evolves. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
